Lourdes University provides several opportunities to earn college credit through our dual enrollment program.

The Lourdes Dual Enrollment program offers Ohio and Southern Michigan high school students the opportunity to earn college credit while in high school that later can be applied to a Lourdes undergraduate degree or transferred to another college or university of the student’s choice.

Accredited by the state of Ohio and the Higher Learning Commission, Lourdes University offers an excellent education – one that works well with high school students looking to jump start their college education.

Requirements For Admission

  • 3.0 GPA
  • Students who do not meet required GPA are advised to take an accuplacer test. Once test is taken, the student will go through a review process to determine entrance and acceptance under a probation period to the Lourdes Dual Enrollment program.
  • High School Scholar applicants from Michigan schools should consult with their guidance counselor on required GPA for the Lourdes Dual Enrollment program

Priority Application Deadlines

  • Summer: April 15
  • Fall: June 15
  • Spring: November 15

Choose the Program That Works Best For You

Ohio’s College Credit Plus (CCP)

Earn college and high school credits at the same time by taking college courses. Free for public school students who wish to attend a public Ohio university or college. There may be fees for homeschooled students or students that wish to attend a private university or college.

Please note, if student is homeschooled and/or attends a private school they MUST submit the CCP Funding Application by April 1st by 5:00 pm. Homeschooled and/or private school students MUST submit a copy of the funding award letter to enroll in class. To submit the CCP Funding Application click HERE

This program provides introductory college credit courses for high school students who choose not to enroll in the College Credit Plus program.

This program is ideal for the following high school students:

  • Michigan residents looking to earn college credits
  • Students attending private or Catholic high schools looking to earn college credit
  • Homeschool students in Ohio and Michigan

Lourdes University appoints qualified instructors in selected public and private high schools as adjunct instructors. These instructors offer courses in the high schools as extensions of the particular Lourdes University academic department. As adjunct faculty members, these instructors receive support and supervision from the appropriate Lourdes University academic department.
