The ultimate tool in the ability to reach both the concrete and the abstract, mathematics is the core of all scientific and technological problems as well as an important study in itself. The Lourdes University mathematics curriculum is designed to provide the educational support for students interested in careers in education, business, industry and scientific fields.

The Department of Mathematics works in concert with the Department of Education to provide Middle Childhood Education majors a concentration in mathematics. These graduates often go on to secure successful careers as STEM and math teachers.
