Associate in Arts in Art
Bachelor of Arts in Art (Studio and Art History)

Artists are creative by nature. As a Lourdes student pursuing your bachelor’s degree in art, you will thrive in an environment that encourages you to be visually expressive and to explore the juxtapositions of light and shade, and thought and action within the context of a liberal arts education.

Lourdes University art students hone their craft in a variety of mediums. A wealth of artistic opportunities exist outside the classroom to enhance your college experience. Work with visiting artists; network in the local arts communities; assist non-profit organizations; submit artwork for the Tau Literary & Visual Journal; become a member of the Orbis Ars and Pre-Art Therapy student organizations; and host your own student art exhibit.

Upon graduation, Lourdes alumni choose to pursue a variety of careers including art educator, illustrator, art historian, interior decorator, visual artists, or museum guide to name a few. A Bachelor of Arts degree in Art also opens the door to successful careers in communications and media.
